Nate's Story

I'm not as young as I used to be, and photo shoots can be exhausting, but they say I have a good smile, so how can I deny them?

Before my family adopted me, life wasn't so good. The last I remember I was outdoors in the middle of the winter, and then on concrete at the local pound with a broken leg and a skin disease that made my winter coat very thin. Someone who visited the shelter saw my condition, shed a tear, and said a prayer for me. That made all the difference because then someone came for me, and I was taken to the doggie hospital. Unfortunately, they had to amputate my broken front leg, but that's okay because now it doesn't hurt anymore.

And I get around great, better than a lot of guys my age with four legs! If you're thinking about bringing a new dog into your family, don't forget about us older fellas!
